Step-by-step plan

What do you need?

• Detergent drawer
• Screwdriver

Always do this first:

• Unplug the dishwasher.
• Turn off the tap.
• Tip: When disassembling the old part, take regular pictures, so you can easily see how to reassemble the new part.

Replacing a dishwasher door lock:

1. Dismantle the door panel from the door.
Open the dishwasher door and remove the door panels by loosening the screws on the inside of the dishwasher. Then disconnect all cables from the control panel.

2. Remove the old detergent drawer.
First disconnect all cables from the detergent drawer. Use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the metal plates holding the soap dish in place. On some models, the soap dish is fixed with screws. Next, take out the soap dish.

3. Insert the new soap dish.
Place the new soap dish in place of the old soap dish. You can now use a flathead screwdriver to press the metal plates into the right place. Then connect all cables to their correct places.

4. Place the door panel back on the dishwasher.
Disconnect all cables from the control panel in the correct place. Then fix the door panels in their correct place by tightening the screws on the inside.
