Freezer - Icing

Do you suffer from ice formation in your refrigerator? Cold air is constantly circulating in a freezer. If warm or moist air enters the freezer, ice formation can occur. The cause of ice formation is therefore usually a door or flap that does not close properly. Check that there are no cracks or tears in the door rubber and see if the door closes properly. If the door rubber is worn out, it must be replaced.

Ice formation can also occur if a freezer is set to the wrong temperature. The advice is to have a freezer at -18 degrees Celsius. The temperature depends on how often the door is opened. Try to keep the door or flap of your freezer closed as much as possible.

The correct number is the type- or model number and NOT the serial number. The model number is a row of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes the model number contains a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/).
