Freezer - Door rubber replacement

Difficulty: Easy
Estimated time: ± 15 minutes

Want to replace the door rubber on your freezer? This step-by-step plan will get it done in no time!

What do you need?

Replacing the freezer door rubber:

1. Remove the old door rubber.
Loosen the old door rubber by loosening it at the top corner. Try to pull the old door rubber loose from the seam by stretching it toward you. You can then pull the rest of the door rubber loose like this.

2. Place the new door rubber.
Place the new door rubber in the upper corner. Press the new door rubber firmly into the seam and make sure it is secure. First, make sure the top is secure by working through to the other top corner. Then go down the sides and press the door rubber firmly in place everywhere. Well done, you've replaced your freezer door rubber!

The correct number is the type- or model number and NOT the serial number. The model number is a row of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes the model number contains a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/).
