Always first:
- Unplug from the socket.
- WARNING: Even after unplugging, the capacitor can still hold a dangerously high voltage. So wait at least 10 minutes, or discharge the capacitor by connecting the terminals with well-insulated tools.
1. Remove the casing
Unscrew the screws at the back and possibly on the side. Then you can easily remove the top and side panels.
2. Remove the old capacitor
Attention! First, the appliance must be discharged. Connect the two contacts of the capacitor with insulated pliers to discharge the appliance. Then disconnect the contact.
Now you can safely unscrew the screw. Then remove the old capacitor from the microwave.
3. Install the new capacitor
Place the new capacitor where the old one was and screw it back in. Then you can put the clips back on the capacitor. Don’t forget to reconnect the contact at the end.
4. Put the casing back
Slide the panels back onto the microwave. Then screw the screws at the back and possibly the side back in.
