Want to clean your refrigerator? Read here what it takes!
If your refrigerator is making noise, it often means that the refrigerator has to put in more effort to cool than normal. There are a number of things that could be causing the noise.
There is dirt in and around the refrigerator.
There may be dirt around and inside the refrigerator, causing the refrigerator to make strange noises. Check the drain trap. If you see that the drain is clogged then it is smart to puncture it or get the dirt out by using a knitting needle, cotton swab or a satay stick.
The appliance is too close to the wall.
If the refrigerator is placed too close to the wall, it will be more difficult for the appliance to dissipate its heat. Make sure that the ventilation slots are clear. If the ventilation slots are blocked, try to clear them with something sharp, such as a knitting needle or a skewer.
