Refrigerator - Give ventilation holes space

Difficulty: Easy
Estimated time: ± 5 minutes

It is important that the ventilation holes of the refrigerator have space. Learn how to give refrigerator vents room!

Giving refrigerator vents room:
Make sure that your refrigerator always has room to get rid of the heat. Therefore, don't put your appliance too close to the wall. The refrigerator's vents must be able to release the heat.

If your refrigerator does stand too close to the wall, the vents will not be able to release the heat from the refrigerator. This causes the appliance to have more trouble cooling which also causes the refrigerator to make more noise. The refrigerator is on 24 hours a day, so keep in mind that more efficient cooling will save money in the long run. If the ventilation slots are clogged, try to clear them with something sharp, such as a knitting needle or a satay pick.

The correct number is the type- or model number and NOT the serial number. The model number is a row of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes the model number contains a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/).
