Washing machine - Replace door handle

Always first:

• Unplug the power cord.
• Turn off the faucet.
• Tip: When disassembling the old part, take regular pictures, so you can easily see how to reassemble the new part.

Replacing the washing machine door handle:

1. Remove the door from the washing machine.
The door handle is attached to the door of the washing machine. Open the door and loosen the screws on the door hinge. Remove the door from the washing machine.

2. Remove the old door handle from the door.
Turn the door over and loosen all the screws on the door. Then loosen the outer edge. Remove the old door handle from the door.

3. Attach the new door handle.
Insert the spring and door hook into the door handle and slide the shaft through. Insert the assembled door handle into the inside edge of the door. Hold the door handle at the bottom and place the outer edge back in place. Retighten all screws on the door.

4. Replace the washer door.
Place the door back on the washing machine. Tighten the screws on the hinge again. Well done, you have replaced the door handle on your washing machine!
