Neff was founded in 1877 in a small town called Baden-Württemburg by Carl Neff and his 6 partners. Carl Neff was a locksmith by profession before he changed his tack and focused on the stove. The first few Neff ovens were made by only 6 pairs of hands, but these ovens were of good quality. This quality can still be seen in Neff appliances today.
In 1919 they continued to develop and innovate in the field of kitchens. Various new appliances were also brought onto the market. Larger ovens were introduced for industrial kitchens. These had to replace the polluting coal ovens.
In 1949, when the war had just ended, the Neff oven was launched. It was now possible for the first time to cook in different compartments. This made it possible to cook at two different temperatures. In 1950, capitalism was abandoned and the innovation of the western world began. Neff was the first manufacturer to decide to equip all ovens with thermostats. In 1960, the industrial microwave oven was introduced.
In the 70s and 80s, the oven was further developed. They came with different hobs, gas, electric hobs. Shortly thereafter, a new technology was invented whereby it is possible to pull the oven out by means of the wheels and the rails to the front.
In the past 20 years, Neff has not been sitting still and has continued to develop. For example, the NEff FlexInduction hob has come onto the market. This induction hob ensures that only the place where you place the pan becomes hot.
