Refrigerator - Moist

It sometimes happens that the refrigerator is damp on the inside. You often see drops on the back wall or even ice drops. The products you keep in the refrigerator then get wet, which of course is not very pleasant. Fortunately, there is often a good explanation for this. Calling in a technician is not immediately necessary.

Why is there moisture in the refrigerator?
A refrigerator always has some condensation. To stay cool, the refrigerator has cooling elements at the back of the device and these cool the back wall. When the refrigerator is at the right temperature the cooling elements switch off to save energy. If the temperature drops a bit, the refrigerator turns on again and starts cooling again. This goes on like this continuously. This means that moisture is constantly freezing and thawing again.  If there is too much moisture in the unit then this can become a problem though.

The correct number is the type- or model number and NOT the serial number. The model number is a row of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes the model number contains a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/).
