In order for a clothes dryer to function properly, it is important that it be in a good location.
Some good conditions for the clothes dryer to function properly are:
Put the clothes dryer in a dry and protected place.
Put the dryer down in the garage? That's not wise! You don't want everything to get damp, nor do you want the temperature to change too much.
Make sure the dryer is on a stable surface.
A surface that is not stable will cause vibrations and noise. The vibration can cause problems to other parts of the clothes dryer.
Make sure the dryer drain hose is as short as possible.
The longer the drain hose, the greater the chance of a leak. It is important that the clothes dryer is in a place with a good drain.
Give the clothes dryer space.
Many people find a clothes dryer ugly and place it somewhere behind or even in a closet. The disadvantage is that this device needs space to ventilate. So, make sure the clothes dryer has enough space to ventilate properly.
